If you're a Far North Queensland local or visitor and you've taken a great photo on the Atherton Tablelands, there are plenty of cash prizes up for grabs in the Our Australia – the Faces and Places of the Tablelands competition.
The organisers are after images that "capture the character of our beautiful environment and country towns, as well as our people". Visit the Tablelands Regional Council site to see previous winners, including the winning image above, by Alan Carmichael.
Deadline: 19 January 2011
Image format: at least 8 x 10 inch print mounted on cardboard, plus email of high res image
