Plein Air Photographic Prize - closed for 2010

This is the winning photo for the 2010 Plein Air Prize. It was taken by Peter Solness a Sydney based photographer. You'll definitely want to have a look at his website which has some amazing night-time photography. You can also see a larger version of his winning photo and the story of how he took it ... at 1am in mud up to his knees! Now that's devotion to your art.

This competition  is associated with the NSW Parliament and is about photographing the NSW landscape. Anyone who is a permanent resident of Australia can enter. Keep an eye on the website to see when it opens in 2011.

Deadline: The 2010 deadline was 30 July.
