The recycling bin in my kitchen, a plastic tub, doesn't usually inspire me to get out my camera. Sure it does a good job at collecting old newspapers, cans and milk bottles, but as the subject of a photo...?That is, until now, when a photo of a humble recycling bin, could win you an iPad and VIP tickets to the Beachley Classic in Sydney. It doesn't have to be your personal recycle bin. Once you start noticing them, there are recycling bins everywhere - in the street, your office, school, beside the barista in your local cafe or lurking in laneways in the city.
This photo competition is being run by Planet Ark to make us think about recycling our aluminium cans. One can recycled = 3 hours of electricity for your TV.
